Hey I’m Alex!
I photograph weddings, elopements, and any moment that is filled with love. Whether we’re in the streets of New York or running away to a mountain escape, I believe that your love should be captured as it truly is – beautiful, unique, and genuine.
I believe all have a story to tell. Our stories shape who we are. Our paths, however windy, always bring us to where we’re supposed to be. If you’re reading this, your story brought you love, and that’s something to be celebrated!
But first, I’d love to share a bit of my own story with you…
Coming from a family of engineers, I naturally went off to university and got my degree in the same. But it was never my passion. Still, I followed the path I had created for myself and got a job that took me to New York, a place I had dreamed of living for as long as I could remember.
And New York brought me what I always felt it would. An electric buzz of energy. A feeling of unlimited possibility. I found myself picking up an old camera after spending so many years focused on landing the job I thought would make me happy. And there it was. My passion. It was right where I left it, with photography.

Like a cliche romance film, my love story started on the streets of Europe. It’s not a traditional love story, as my love interest was actually a Canon Rebel that I used to document every moment of my time abroad.
As time went on, I saw how much power a photograph holds. So often people criticize themselves too harshly or lack confidence in who they are. The magic of the camera is that your beauty is captured as the rest of the world sees it. I saw the shift in self-esteem from my friends who I photographed. Those photos were reminders to be a little kinder to yourself. And I fell in love with giving that gift to others.
Those candid moments abroad turned into senior photos for friends. And as we all started to grow up, those sessions soon became couples photos and engagement sessions.
Let me tell you about photographing two people in love… It's the BEST thing.
The way one arm gently brushes your lovers. When your hands meet and fingers lace together. The energy of your laughs from something you whispered. That is beauty in its most natural state. And it’s why I’m a wedding photographer.
Also the one where the rain fell. Where my photographer got sick and couldn’t make it to the wedding with 180 guests. And you know what? I wouldn’t change a thing. It was still my happiest day ever. So if you’re reading this and planning your wedding day, I wanted to remind your of this:
A love that can’t be hurt by a bit of weather or one of the (many) mishaps that will happen. So don’t stress about the “what ifs” and instead focus on what matters most to you. It will keep you sane AND it will ensure you’ll have the happiest day no matter what.
Plus with me by your side, we’ll be ready for anything.
Amazing photographer!! Professional, fun, knows what she's doing and gives her pictures back in a reasonable time!!
